Leave Me In My Comfort-Zone

Swim, run, cycle - smash the lot ,

Give it more than all you've got !

Improve yourself,  be who you're not..........

Still as stone, at rest at home.

Leave me in my comfort-zone.

Brace beneath an ice-cold shower,

Hold your breath for half an hour,

Free-climb up the Eiffel Tower........

Warm as toast , dry as a bone.

Leave me in my comfort-zone.

Test resilience, push that limit,

Embrace the pain, just bear and grin it,

Convince yourself there's virtue in it..............

Content to whinge, to whine and moan.

Leave me in my comfort-zone.

Grasp every challenge by the scruff,

Don't submit when enough’s enough,

Go tougher when the going’s tough............

It’s just as hard here on my own.

Exhausted in my comfort-zone.
